Built with Node.js, Express, SQLite, and a modular frontend architecture, Sentinel brings critical server metrics, service management, event logs, security monitoring, backup operations, and cloud health checks into one unified interface.

Track CPU load, memory usage, disk capacity, network connectivity, and service health through a unified dashboard. Historical charts, configurable alert thresholds, and automated health checks help identify potential issues before they become critical.
Nine-Layer Security Architecture
A defense-in-depth approach combines Windows Firewall, Windows Defender, Tailscale VPN, automated brute-force detection, IP blocking, and network port restrictions. The Shield security suite continuously monitors suspicious activity, blocks detected threats, and reports malicious IP addresses to AbuseIPDB.
Automated Server Management
A suite of 20+ PowerShell scripts orchestrates recurring maintenance and monitoring tasks. From service supervision and disk-space alerts to critical event detection and scheduled reporting, routine operations run automatically with minimal manual intervention.

A multi-destination backup workflow combines Windows Server Backup, Robocopy synchronization, OneDrive, and removable storage. Automated email notifications report backup success or failure, helping maintain visibility into data protection operations.

Sentinel extends monitoring beyond the physical server to a Hyper-V virtual machine and its connected services. Dedicated API endpoints provide visibility into VM status, application availability, security, backups, and system health, with automated alerts and recovery-state resolution.
